About Me

Hi – My name is Racheal Neill, and I am a childminder in Newmarket who runs Tiny Footprint Outdoor Explorers. I co-childmind with Jessica, and John who run Aspects Childcare.

I have worked with children for over 25 years in the education and social care sector as well as Safeguarding for Suffolk County Council.

I am a qualified Level 5 Early Years Practitioner, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, assess in Early Years  and am just completing my Level 3 Elklan Training so I can support speech and language with under 5’s.

My Setting

Parking on driveway or at front of house for easy drop off and pick up.

Situated just off the bus route through Newmarket.

Close to Exning and the A14.

Opening Hours

Typically: 7am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday all year-round for ages birth to teen BUT can be open for additional hours during the week and at weekends when needed and agreed in advance. We currently offer: All day, full time, part time, term time only, all year round contracts available. Before and After school club for Paddocks Primary Holiday club for all children Please do note that I am flexible according to parents need as I know how difficult it can be to find good quality childcare for the hours that you need!

Funding

As part of our co-childminding team we offer:

A sunny, bright learning environment to suit all ages.

Safe indoor and outdoor areas.

Space for bustling, noisy interaction.

Quiet areas for thoughtful play and reading.

Designated Outdoor Classroom with sensory boxes.

Space for arts, crafts and messy play.

A fun, lively environment for children to learn and grow!

We try to go out as much as possible, including to our 3 acres of private woodland.

We are very much an outdoors child-led practice so sometimes we are never quite sure where the activity will go or where we will end up!

Provisions

I have experience of working with outside agencies to support children to meet their individual needs and targets.

I also complete monthly CPD such as ‘supporting children and families with English as an additional language’ to keep my knowledge up to date.

Each child will have a designated keyperson who can work closely with the parents or carers to support the children to thrive in our home from home environment.

We can cater for most dietary and cultural needs so please ask if you require anything specific and we will do our best to accommodate you!
