Chaya leads Hendon Playgroup. A mother of four, she brings over 20 years of experience working with young children and holds a Level 3 Certificate in Childcare. She has built a setting where every child feels known, supported and valued.

From September 2026, we will be operating across two settings:
Baby and Toddler Room (9 to 18 months)
Based in our original home setting. Small, cosy and full of warmth.
Preschool Room (18 months and over)
Now at Chazak, Brent Street. Space to explore and thrive, with lunch and snacks included.
Both settings offer eligibility for the 30 hours free childcare scheme.
Our home is kosher, and we follow the EYFS statutory framework. Regular observations and reports are shared with families to track each child's development throughout the academic year.
Monday to Thursday: 8:45am to 3:45pm Friday: 8:45am to 12pm (1pm in summer) Term time only. Term dates are provided before the start of the academic year.
We accept the 30 hours free childcare scheme.
Hendon Playgroup is an inclusive setting, catering for every child's individual needs. We are happy to work alongside other childminders and nurseries in the local area.
