My name is Hansani Gajanayake and I’m a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic childminder with a passion for working with young children. With experience in early years settings and a nurturing personality, I provide a safe, stimulating, and loving environment where children can learn, play, and grow at their own pace.
I believe every child is unique and deserves individual attention, encouragement, and support. My approach is warm, child centred, and developmentally appropriate whether it’s messy play, outdoor adventures, Storytime, or cuddles after a nap.
I am trained in safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food Hygiene level 2 and EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
My setting is welcoming and well equipped with age-appropriate toys, books, and sensory materials. I also love planning creative activities like singing, dancing, nature walks, and early learning games that support children’s physical, emotional, and All development.
Being a childminder is not just my job, it’s my joy
Our setting provides a safe, welcoming home-from-home environment where children can thrive. With dedicated play areas, a secure outdoor space, and a daily routine guided by the EYFS framework, children engage in a variety of activities that promote learning, confidence, and independence. We aim to create a nurturing atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
I am open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing flexible care during these hours to accommodate the needs of parents and children.
At our setting, I provide a warm, nurturing environment for children aged 1-4, with a variety of engaging activities designed to support their development. We specialize in creating a home-from-home atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as regular outings to local parks and soft play.
We offer Early Years Funding for eligible children, and we provide all meals and snacks, ensuring children receive nutritious and balanced options throughout the day.
At our setting, I strive to create an inclusive environment where every child, regardless of their background or ability, is welcomed, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We adapt activities to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
We work closely with parents to understand their child's needs and ensure they receive tailored support. Our setting is equipped to support children with a variety of needs, offering a range of sensory experiences, accessible resources, and adaptations to ensure all children can participate fully.
