Hello, my name is Sheri from Biddulph and I am an experienced primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience working with children. I have a genuine love for supporting children’s learning and development and I am enthusiastic, nurturing, and passionate about education.
My aim is to bring the best of both worlds into my childminding setting by combining my classroom experience with a warm, home-from-home environment. I deliver high-quality EYFS curriculum knowledge while ensuring children feel safe, supported and encouraged to explore, play and thrive at their own pace.
I live with my fiancé, and we have been together for 11 years. We are a family of four, with our two beautiful daughters, Autumn and Flossy, who are a big part of our happy and caring home. I look forward to welcoming children into our setting and supporting them as they grow, learn and develop confidence in themselves and the world around them.
My home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, providing a calm and secure environment for children. I have a welcoming, well-resourced playroom where children can explore, create and learn through play, with a wide range of toys, arts and crafts materials and dressing-up resources to support all areas of the EYFS. Outdoors, the spacious garden offers rich learning opportunities, including a sandpit, slides and a natural ‘forest area’ at the back, encouraging curiosity, physical development and a love of nature.
