I have been a childminder for 7 years having previously worked in HR!

I particularly love children and chose to change career and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have built excellent relationships with all the families that have come to me and pride myself on the close working relationships I have with them .

I live with my partner who is usually always out working as a plumbing and gas heating engineer and my 2 children , one at secondary school and one in primary. Having grown with their mum childminding they have learnt valuable skills when interacting with the children.

We live in our own home and are very lucky to have the space for me to work.

I like to continually do additional training and have recently completed level 2 in Makaton.

I provide a home from home nurturing, safe and fun environment. I strive to provide a variety of experiences for all ages of children , through adult and child led play. I have a free flowing access to outdoor purpose built garden where children have the freedom to play with a variety of resources at all times. I do also like to take children on various excursions and have a number of annual memberships to places such as the local farm park, zoo and heritage places such as Lincoln Castle and Normanby Hall.
