Hi, my names Sam Clinton and I am the owner of Robin’s Nest Childminding here in Perton, South Staffs. I am married to my husband Matt, we have been married for 10 years, we have two beautiful sons- Aged 13 and 9 and our 2 loving dogs Ted and Lola. They are small Shitzu poodles and love cuddles. ( They are not allowed in the childminding area)
I have always worked in private day nurseries and feel the time has come for me to set up my own childminding from home.
I have completed all essential training and will continue to complete CPD ( continuous professional development) courses to enhance my knowledge.
I have over 7 years of experience and 13 years of parenting experience. I have an NVQ level 3 in children’s learning and development.
I am a home from home setting, providing safe, secure and stimulating environment, which consists of a porch for extra security, we have a playroom with lots of continuous provision, leading into the art area/ meal time area, leading into the garden area. My setting is set over one floor with each room leading into the next with a downstairs toilet and changing facilities for younger children. The garden is used in all weathers, which includes a mud kitchen, mark making area, fresh herbs and flowers, mini greenhouse and sand and water tray.
We are situated in a very quiet cul de sac, with lots of green spaces, forests, a park and library within walking distance.
I am open 5 days a week- 7.30am until 6pm ( if you need more flexibility please ask I can see if I can accommodate) I do the school run so would ask children to arrive before 8am or after 9am and then for school pick up, I ask children are collected before 3pm or after 3.45pm. I am available for adhoc sessions booked in advanced on a Saturday because here at Robin’s Nest we understand not everyone has a Monday- Friday career.

Breakfast / cold Lunch / Snacks / Dinner/ milk/ water provided within full day fees. - Dinner can be provided at an extra cost for those doing after school sessions.
Entry to local playgroups / outings are included in the daily fees.
Nappies, wipes and suncream are all included. I just ask that any nappy creams are provided by yourselves please.
I use an app which you will have access to- I will upload photos, daily diary, observations, assessments and contracts on- allowing you to access them with ease when you like.
