My name is Ruth and I am a registered childminder. I am based in Hanwell, Ealing. I am married to Mustapha and we have two daughter's, both attend local schools in the area. I have Spanish roots but was born and raised in the UK so I am fluent to an extent in the Spanish language. I grew up in Hanwell and still love to explore the parks. It's a lovely place to grow up. Prior to childminding, I worked in accounts in credit controller for 12 years. After that I worked as a supervisor at a local school. I decided to become a childminder to enable me to spend time as a 'mum at home' with my family and provide quality childcare for other families. I am committed to providing a fun, friendly, clean and safe environment for the children in my care.

I endeavour to provide children with stimulating learning opportunities that reflect their age and stage of development through play and every day experiences. Children should be allowed to explore the world around them.
My setting is a home from home, not a nursery . In my opinion, they have their whole lives to be in a structured environment. I believe if a child is happy and feels secure in their environment, they can achieve anything, doesn't matter where they are.
My main focus has always been communication. I try to develop their language skills, depending on age, as soon as they start in my setting as this to me is one of the most important stages.
