Hello, my name is Lucy and I am a mum of two boys, living in Thurston near Bury St Edmund’s. My career background has been in adult social care working with individuals with learning disabilities. After having my two children I have such a passion being around children and supporting them to develop and achieve their goals that I felt working in a child setting would be a great career change that I would enjoy!  I live with my partner Chelsey she works in adult social care and also my two sons and our little dog Marnie.

I love being active and being outdoors, exploring new places and having fun!

I have completed EYFS , Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid. I plan to further my development by completing additional courses.

I am a home from home setting with indoor and outdoor areas for children to play. The day will be planned around the children’s interests and promoting development. There is a little park on my housing development but there is also a really lovely park with a sand pit and different types of playing equipment and also a little indoor soft play within a ten minute walk from my house.

I ask for packed lunch to be provided however I am happy to provide snacks.

I will be focusing on early years children but am also open to wrap around care for school drops offs and pick ups if this fits in with our routine.
