Hi parents I’m Louisa, a caring patient person with a genuine passion for working with children.  I am dedicated and passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children.

At Care4Cubs, I offer high-quality, home-based childcare where little ones can learn, play, and grow in a warm, family-like setting.  As a parent myself of a toddler I always loved nurturing young minds, I understand how important it is to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where children feel happy and secure.  I risk access my setting every day, updating and changing my selection of toys.

I believe in learning through play, encouraging creativity, and helping children develop important social and life skills.  Whether it’s exploring nature, reading stories, or engaging in arts and crafts, I strive to make everyday fun and educational. I take pride in creating a warm, home-like atmosphere where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.  Each child is unique and will have a tailored learning plan to support them in learning and development with accordance to the EYFS guidelines.  I undertake continuing professional development through current training to keep up to date.

I am committed to making each child’s time at Care4Cubs a positive and enriching experience.   By helping little ones take their first steps or building confidence and preparing them for school.  I take great pride in supporting their development in a loving and home-like setting and been part of a child’s journey and helping them grow into confident, happy individuals.

* Safety & First Aid – Certified in [First Aid, CPR, Safeguarding, etc.], ensuring a secure environment.

* Behaviour Management – Encouraging positive behaviour through patience, routine, and gentle guidance.

* Parental Support – Regular communication with parents to update them on their child’s progress.

Services I Offer

• Full-time, part-time, and after-school care
• Engaging activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games.
• School drop-offs and pick-ups can be arranged from Seven Kings Primary School, St Aidan’s Catholic Academy and Christchurch Primary School, which can be considered.
• Healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks (addition cost).
• Clean play areas and eating space for children.
• Support with early learning and development.
• A nurturing environment tailored to each child’s individual needs.

• Drinking Water & Juice – Fresh drinking water and juice are always available to keep children hydrated.
• Baby Care Essentials – I provide nappies, wipes, and baby-friendly toiletries which is charged accordingly (or parents can bring their own if preferred).
• Comfortable Sleeping Area – A safe, quiet space with cots and bedding for naps.
• Child-Friendly Play Area – A dedicated indoor play space with age-appropriate toys and learning materials.
• Highchairs & Feeding Equipment – Clean, safe feeding chairs and utensils for babies and toddlers.
• Toilet Training Support – Helping parents with encouragement and assistance for little ones transitioning to independence.
• I have a toilet and shower room downstairs.
• Safe & Secure Environment – A childproofed home with safety gates and monitored play areas.
• Parking Facilities – Easy and stress-free drop-offs and pick-ups for parents.
