My name is Lauren, i live in north -Northamptonshire with my husband and 2 children ages 8 and 6 years.

I have worked in childcare for 12 years, spending 7 years working in a nursery where i completed all my training and had on the job learning which i believe has given me a wealth of experience and then after having my own children i decided to become a childminder which has been the best decision i have ever made.

I love working in the early years sector and love building strong relationships with the children in my care and their families.

My setting is a fun and friendly environment that has plenty of space and resources for children to explore. i have a large playroom where all the recourses are kept at heights accessible to children and this area has doors leading to the good sized garden area equipped with garden toys. my style of childcare is very much child led, i am passionate about giving children choices and following their interests and developing needs. During the week we have some regular play groups we like to go to, once a month we do a day out somewhere like the farm, an indoor soft play place ect we also regularly meet up with other childminders nearby and have fun themed days and do actives together like teddy bears picnics ect and everyday we get out for a walk in the nearby woodland area to get some outside time and walk our pet dog which all the children love and he is their pet as much as he is mine.
