I am a qualified teacher with nine years of teaching experience, and seven of these years as head of department. These experiences have allowed me to work with a huge range of children over the years in terms of ages, abilities and additional needs.

I live with my husband, baby daughter, two horses, a mule and a cat! Since the birth of my daughter in February 2024, I decided to retrain as an early year’s care provider. I have a level 3 award in home-based childcare, and all necessary training qualifications including safeguarding, food safety and paediatric first aid. I am also a qualified children’s yoga teacher, and plan to include short yoga sessions in our daily routine.

JKS Education Little Owls childcare provides a welcoming and homely environment for children aged between three months and five years old. A dedicated outside playroom has been created with beautiful decoration and a range of educational and fun toys for children of all ages. There is plenty of outside space which is used for play and learning about the natural world through water and sand tables, and areas for growing seeds. The daily routine focuses on plenty of opportunity for outside play as well as using Makaton sign language for nursery rhyme time and participating in yoga stories and games.
