I have worked in education for the past 15 years and have progressed from a class teacher to an assistant headteachers and deputy head teacher. During my years working in a school, I have has the pleasure of working with hundreds of children and their families. This experience has given me a in - depth knowledge of how children learn and develop and the important role we play ion a child's early years.

i live with my husband Mark and our two beautiful children. We enjoy spending time together as a family and having dun days out. i am hard working and dedicated to the children i look after. I aim to give4 the children in my care a safe and nurturing environment where they feel comfortable to try new thing and thrive with their learning,

Our childminding service is based in a comfortable and secure home environment. We have a front room, a playroom and a open plan kitchen / living space with access to a spacious garden. We have a separate room designated for the children to have daily naps if required. As there are two of us working together, this allows us to have more children and create a mini nursery setting where learning is fun and creative. We do this through adult - led activities which provide structure and targeted learning and there will also be opportunities for child - led play which ensures that children have the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace. We both like to be active and creative so we will meet up with other childminders, attend toddler sessions / soft plays, take trips to the library / parks and in the warmer months we will attend places like the farm, have picnics in the park etc.
