My name is Jo and I am a childminder registered with SCA. I work in my family home alongside my husband Alfie who is registered as my assistant. We have 3 of our own children and have been childminding together for 6 years now and operate our term time only business based in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield.
Before working in early years I worked in the health care sector as a health care assistant and rehab support within the community.
I am level 3 qualified in homebased childcare with safeguarding, food hygiene and first aid, not to mention lots of other courses that keep us on our toes and up to date.
Alfie and I are a fantastic team and offer a fun and nurturing environment for children to play and learn. We provide lots of different activities and outings and boast a nice spacious garden.
We love watching your children grow and being a apart of shaping their little personalities really makes us smile.
We work from our lovely warm bright and inspiring home with great resources inside and out to promote development. We have a free flow child led approach, the fantastic routines we have within our setting really provides children with a sense of belonging.
We promote healthy eating catering for all dietary requirements
We operate a term time only business Monday- Friday opening hours are 7.30-18.00
We look after children between the ages of 6 weeks- 4 years when they start school.
We offer the government funded 15 and 30 hours and also the government tax free childcare to those eligible.
