My passion is working with children and families, l have worked in the voluntary and private sector, in residential unit children aged 5 to 18 years old. I had the opportunity to assist other proprietors is setting up their nurseries and became a manger of my own. I have a wealth of experience in the field of childcare which span over thirty years, and in that time raised of family. Becoming a childminder l had felt was the best way forward in journey of early years.
My setting is well structured children have easy access to resources. The environment safe, warm and welcoming and child focus. All resources are clearly labelled.
Our provision is underpinned by an effective balance of adult-initiated and child-led learning. We are committed in continuous cycle of observations and assessments, planning and teaching a well plan curriculum.
Opening times 7:30 am until 6pm Monday to Friday Not open on bank holidays and no charges. Term time and full time, which is dependent on vacancies. Childminder leave is four weeks within the year.
We accept children who are eligible for government funding please see the link https://www.gov.uk we also accept childcare Vouchers, and employers’ schemes.
At present no school pick up’s or drop off’s this will be in the future/ this will also include links with feeder schools.
Indoor and outdoor play enriches early childhood education. It promotes learning and development.
Themes can include natural exploration and imaginative play. Children can adapt their creativity
Learning sessions driven by children's Input fosters ownership in learning. create themed sessions based on these interests. This boosts engagement and critical thinking.
Local nature walks offer hands-on learning. Children observe and engage with their environment. This will prompt discussions and encourage discovery. Collecting natural items enhances classroom exploration.
