I provide a warm, calm and nurturing childminding setting where children can feel safe, settled and happy.
I have many years of experience working with children of different ages, as well as being a mum myself, which helps me understand both children’s needs and the realities of family life.
My approach is gentle and child-led. I focus on helping children build confidence, develop communication skills and feel secure in their environment. I love using music, sensory play and hands-on activities to keep children engaged and enjoying their day.
MiniMove is a small, caring setting based in a dedicated space within the local community, offering a calm and structured environment with plenty of individual attention.
I aim to create a home-from-home atmosphere where children feel safe, settled and confident.
A typical day includes a mix of:
I follow the EYFS framework in a natural, play-based way, supporting each child’s development through their interests and daily experiences. I keep parents updated regularly so they feel involved and informed.
Meals are provided in line with the setting’s dietary requirements.
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 – 15:00 Friday: 9:00 – 12:00 Open beyond term time. A full calendar of operating dates is available on request.
Funded places are available in line with local authority guidelines.
Every child is welcomed and supported as an individual.
I provide an inclusive environment and am happy to support children with additional needs where possible. I work closely with parents to make sure each child settles well and gets the support they need, including with routines such as sleep, transitions and development.
