I’m a caring and fully registered childminder, providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating home-from-home setting where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
I’m also a proud mum to my 18-year-old son, who is currently preparing for his A-Levels and hopes to study medicine at a top university. Supporting him through his journey has inspired my passion for helping children reach their full potential from an early age.
I follow the EYFS framework, offering engaging and age-appropriate activities tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests. My setting promotes curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning through play, both indoors and outdoors.
Outside of childminding, I enjoy running, keeping fit, spending quality time with my family, and entertaining.
I’ve completed all essential training and I stay committed to continuous professional development.
Working closely with parents, I aim to provide a warm, consistent, and high-quality experience where children feel happy, safe, and excited to explore each day.
My setting provides a safe, welcoming home-from-home environment where children can thrive. With dedicated play areas, a secure outdoor space, and a daily routine guided by the EYFS framework, children engage in a variety of activities that promote learning, confidence, and independence. I aim to create a nurturing atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
I am open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing flexible care during these hours to accommodate the needs of parents and children.
At my setting, I provide a warm, nurturing environment for children aged 1-4, with a variety of engaging activities designed to support their development. I specialize in creating a home-from-home atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as regular outings to local parks and soft play.
I offer Early Years Funding for eligible children, and I provide all meals and snacks, ensuring children receive nutritious and balanced options throughout the day. Additionally, I host workshops to engage children in fun learning activities. I can also provide school pickups, ensuring continuity of care for children transitioning between home, school, and my setting.
At my setting, I strive to create an inclusive environment where every child, regardless of their background or ability, is welcomed, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I adapt activities to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
I work closely with parents to understand their child's needs and ensure they receive tailored support. My setting is equipped to support children with a variety of needs, offering a range of sensory experiences, accessible resources, and adaptations to ensure all children can participate fully.
I am part of a network of local childminders, which allows me to share best practices, resources, and support for the children in my care. This collaborative group helps ensure that I stay up to date with the latest early years developments, training, and ideas.
In addition, I maintain strong links with local schools to ensure smooth transitions for children moving between settings. I work closely with other providers to share information and ensure a consistent approach to each child’s learning and development, providing continuity of care and support.
