Hello, I’m Eni, an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Dursley (GL11) and a mum of two. I have over 10 years of experience working with children from newborn to 17 years old, and I am also a qualified primary school teacher, having taught in London and Bristol. My background includes working as a youth worker overseas, a supply nursery nurse, and a church youth leader for over 7 years. I’m proud that my setting was rated “Good” (Grade 2) in all areas during my latest Quality Assurance visit (September 2025). I offer a safe, caring, and welcoming home-from-home environment, with plenty of opportunities for indoor and outdoor play. We regularly visit local parks, the library, and playgroups, giving children a variety of fun and enriching experiences. I love supporting children’s development through creative, messy, and sensory play, as well as music, movement, and lots of laughter. My aim is to help every child feel happy, confident, and valued. I look forward to welcoming you and your little one into my setting
My setting is located in a peaceful and safe area, just a 5–10 minute walk from several local parks and playgrounds, the library, schools, and nurseries. We are also within walking distance of local playgroups and Dursley High Street. These nearby amenities provide a wide range of enriching learning opportunities and experiences for children of all ages.
We are lucky to have a wide variety of child-friendly activities and places to explore nearby, including:
● Local playgrounds for outdoor fun and physical development
● Farm visits to learn about animals and nature
● Nature walks and forest outings to explore the environment
● The local library for stories and early learning
● Picnics in the park during warmer days
● Visits to a nearby castle for exciting adventures and discovery
● Children’s centres offering activities and support
● “Stay and play” sessions to encourage social interaction
● Local playgroups to build friendships and confidence
These experiences help support children’s learning, creativity, and social development in a fun and engaging
way.
My hourly rate is £10, which includes all arts and crafts materials, messy play activities, and some lower-cost
entry fees to local playgroups and community events.
