I’ve been working in childcare for over 10 years, I live with my husband and we have 4 children plus our pug dog Frank. I have always had a passion for early years and I hold a NVQ level 3 in childcare, I have worked in nurseries for many years before opening my childcare business in 2020 following the birth of my last child. I love being outdoors and taking the children on adventures, I especially enjoy setting up messy play activities. I am currently doing the Hygge in the early years accreditation and pride myself in having a homely, welcoming environment that children can learn, develop and thrive in.

I have a dedicated play room which leads straight into a large secure garden which allows us to have free flow daily. The children are able to self-select resources as well as activities set up based on each child’s individual needs and level of development. I have a wide range of resources which are rotated termly and adapted to suit the individual next steps of the children. I have a focus of sensory and natural exploration and this is shown throughout the setting.
