I’m a qualified teacher with a passion to support little ones to grow into confident, resilient, curious and happy individuals. I have over fifteen years experience of working with children in a range of roles. I have tutored, supported the running of a youth club, worked in nurseries and also worked as an Early Years teacher.  I currently hold a Childhood Studies BA(Hons) degree and a Post Graduate of Education degree.

I have my own little boy who has helped me gain knowledge of how it feels to be a parent. This has helped me to not only use my professional knowledge but also my experience of being a parent to build a childminding service that has the child at the centre and works closely with parents and carers.

Creative Little Love Childcare is designed to be a home from home for your little one and is set out with the children that I care for in mind. Myself and my assistant offer high quality care and activities for all of our children based on their own individual interests and needs. The children have access to messy play, water, sand, the outside garden and our enriched learning environment every day. We follow the EYFS curriculum framework and Birth to Five Matters whilst developing plans to ensure that your child has access to activities that link to their stages of development across all early learning areas. We also take the children out on outings linked to our topics to further develop their understanding.

All of the little ones  in our care are always encouraged to believe in themselves and explore their own interests alongside being made to feel safe and cared for. We support them to be aware of their emotions and how to manage them through co-regulation which in turn develops the building blocks that they need to do this themselves.  When they are in our care they become like one of the family and will build strong bonds with not only myself but my son, husband and assistant. All parents and carers are encouraged to be a part of our Creative Little Love Childcare family and we love to hear about all the achievements that our little one’s have whilst at home and also be there to support you where we can.
