About Me

Hello, my name is Charlotte, I’m a fully registered childminder who provides bespoke childcare to suit a variety of parent’s needs. I live a 10-minute walk away from New Hall Primary school, and offer before and after school wrap around sessions, as well as full day placements from as children as young as birth.

I live with my partner Anton and our 3 children; our daughter is 13 years old, and our sons are 6 and 3 years old.

I have worked within nursery settings as a nursery nurse and been a child minder for over 4 years years. Combined with having my own children, I have gained a range of experiences. I have completed all the required training needed, including pediatric first aid, EYFS, safeguarding, etc. I keep up to date with any changes in the service and continue to enhance my knowledge, by continuing to training in a variety of childcare related subjects.

As a parent, I am familiar with the worries and concerns of going back to work and having to find childcare. I am proud to offer a caring and safe place for children to attend, I can provide a comfortable, home from home experience. As well as having a large garden, that the children have access to, I also live within close proximity to 3 local parks which we visit often.

If you have any questions regarding childcare, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

My Setting

I provide breakfast (before 8am), morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack- all promoting healthy eating which will be around the table to encourage enjoyable, social mealtimes.

I offer a safe, hygienic environment, with plenty of good quality toys, equipment, and resources inside and out.

I use a child led approach, where children can develop at their own pace following their interests and strengths. We have access to lots of outdoor play and exploring as well as dedicated spaces for water play, sand, a mud kitchen, outdoor play equipment and excellent external resources.

We also enjoy visiting places in our local community such as the library, playgroups, sensory gardens, farms, parks, soft plays to enhance the children’s learning experiences.

Our days are well structured and organized, with plenty of opportunities for children to have positive interactions, with plenty of praise, encouragement, and laughter.
