I live in Ascot my partner, our three lovely children, aged 7, 10 and 15 and our lovely cockapoo, Reggie.
In my spare time I enjoy dog walks, spending time with family and friends and getting away.
I have been childminding since 2022, before then I worked in a montessori preschool where I gained my level 3 as an early years educator.
I work with my lovely assistant Mia who I have known for many years. We make a great team and have lots of fun with the children we care for.
Here at Ascot Little Learners, we have created a home from home environment with a dedicated cabin playroom and outside area for childminding. We have a lovely set up which reflects the Montessori approach. We are very much child-led in our day to day practice and we encourage the children to be independent, explore resources and choose what they want to play with. We enjoy celebrating and learning through different topics and events from around the world and often set up invitations to play.
We love getting out and about come rain or shine and we attend Little Muddy Boots, a local forest school, once a week. We enjoy trips to the park, woodland walks, and soft play as well as other places that suit our topics, themes and children's interests and when we can get a spot, we enjoy a music class at a local care home.
We are open Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:15 We run on a term time only basis, offering some holiday clubs throughout the holidays.
I accept the 15 and 30 hours working parents funding, tax free childcare payments and vouchers.
I currently do not offer school pick ups or nursery pick ups.
We provide an inclusive environment here at Ascot Little Learners, where all children are welcomed and valued as a unique child. We celebrate a wide range of cultural and seasonal events and we make sure our resources, toys and books reflect different cultures and backgrounds.
We ensure resources and activities are inclusive and adapted to all children.
We understand that some children may have special educational needs or disabilities and may require additional support. Together, working with parents and other professionals where needed we will ensure each child’s individual needs and care are met.
