I am a 39 year old mother to two amazing teenage boys, and we have the friendliest English Bulldog named George.
I have an Early Years Foundation Degree and have many years of experience in the early years sector having worked in nursery and school settings. I became a childminder to enable me to implement my own curriculum, which is predominately nature-based learning.
I am passionate about children being outdoors and connecting with nature. We spend a lot of our time and out and about in woodlands and natural spaces. We have an allotment and are registered for the RHS School Gardening Awards. We are also working towards our Hygge in the Early Years accreditation, so our home is very welcoming and relaxing with cosy fairy lights and plants. We practice sustainability through childcare, teaching children how we can care for the environment and we only use natural learning resources.
