I am a dedicated childcare professional based in Sidcup. I am a qualified teacher with three years of experience in a Reception class, alongside previous experience working in day nurseries with children aged 0–4.
I have strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and use this to create a nurturing, engaging environment where children can learn and develop through play. My setting will be based in a purpose-built garden building at my home, designed to feel safe, welcoming, and stimulating for all children.
I am calm, patient, and nurturing, and I value building strong relationships with both children and their families. My aim is to provide a happy, home-from-home environment where every child feels secure, supported, and encouraged to thrive.
My childminding setting is based in a purpose-built garden building at my home in Sidcup. It includes its own kitchen and toilet facilities and is fully insulated and heated, providing a comfortable and safe environment all year round. Children have full access to a large, secure garden for outdoor play, along with side gate access for easy and safe drop-off and collection. I am located on a quiet, family-friendly close, with parks, playgroups, and libraries all within walking distance. I provide a calm, home-from-home environment with a balance of play-based learning and age-appropriate activities to support children’s development in line with the EYFS. I offer a range of engaging activities and experiences to promote learning through play, alongside nutritious breakfast, lunch, tea, and healthy snacks throughout the day.
Term Time Only Monday – Friday 8:00 – 17:30
I accept all types of early years funding, making childcare accessible for families. This includes the 15 and 30 hours funded childcare for eligible children from 9 months old, 2-year-old funding, and for 3- and 4-year-olds.
I also accept Tax-Free Childcare payments, as well as private paying families.
I will be registering with the Bexley Local Authority Family Information Service (FIS) once I am fully registered as a childminder, so that my setting can be listed and made available for families seeking childcare in the area.
I am committed to providing an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported. I celebrate diversity and ensure that all children, regardless of their background, abilities, or needs, are fully included in all aspects of the setting. I have experience adapting activities to suit individual needs and supporting children with a range of abilities, including those with SEND and English as an additional language. I work closely with families and, where needed, other professionals to ensure each child receives the best possible care and support. My setting promotes equality, respect, and positive relationships, helping children to develop confidence, independence, and a strong sense of belonging.
