About Me
I have 3 years' experience working in the early years sector. I started my journey as an early year's practitioner, I then came to Highhouse as an assistant and am now working as a childminder. I have a level 2 qualification and am really excited to start working towards my level 3 soon. I also partake in a range of training sessions to keep my knowledge up to date and relevant so I can provide the best service that I can. I really enjoy my role within early years and helping each child grow and develop. I have a 5-year-old little boy which also helps with some knowledge and experience as well as my understanding. I also have a wide range of pets which include fish, a turtle, a cat and some pet ants which keep things interesting in my home life. My Setting
Highhouse Childcare is a unique setting as we work as co-childminders with assistants. We have a large garden area for the children to play and explore in. Parents have described it as feeling ‘like a nursery with a homely feel about it.’ Each child is given a key person and are supported to reach their own individual development targets in their own time. We pride ourselves on working with outside agencies to support the children in our care to thrive to be the best they can be.
