About Me
Hello my name is Donna from Sprowston, I’m a mum and stepmum to three amazing boys. I am a previous EYFS Lead and teacher. I have over 15 years experience in Childcare and Education, 3 Years as a Teaching Assistant, moving onto 12 Years in Primary Education, the last 5 spent as an Early Years Teacher and Early Years Lead. I have led a Nursery and 3 mixed Reception/Yr1 classes.
I feel that now is the right time in my life to make the change into childminding and take all of the experience that I have been lucky enough to gain, to create my own Early Years setting.My Setting
Little Ducklings Daycare is a home based childcare service. My aim is to offer a professional, high quality experience for your little one to grow and thrive by encouraging children to use their initiative and develop skills by providing purposeful and engaging learning opportunities.
I will provide a flexible childcare service where children feel safe, secure and happy. My space has areas set up to support all areas of learning and children will also have access to outdoor learning.
I will have a mixture of child initiated play and adult led activities set up throughout the day.I have a diverse setting, ensuring I follow festivals and themes. I am keen for children to participate in real life experiences through trips to the park, local groups and the library!
