About Me
Central Park Sparks is predominantly a wraparound childcare setting in East Ham run by Tanya Dean a museum and gallery educator, and mother to two young boys turned childminder. I am new to childminding but early years education has long been a passion of mine. I have 16 years of experience working in education, as a learning and engagement officer at various museums and art galleries, and in schools across the country, and a BA and MA degree in education.
My home, conveniently located next to Central Park, offers children a safe and homely place to play and learn - a home away from home. My teaching style is about respecting children as whole and unique people and helping them grow new skills and interests. As a parent, I'm all about gentle parenting with clear boundaries, and lots of encouragement of independence. As a childminder, I combine all of this.My Setting
I am offering wraparound childminding for Brampton Primary School and Central Park Primary School from September 2024 to help support the local community of working parents. I can offer extended hours by prior arrangement.
Elsie the cat also lives at the setting, so unfortunately we cannot take anyone with a cat allergy.
