I have worked with children for almost 20 years in a variety of childcare settings. These include Day Nurseries, Children Centres, Outdoor Educational
Centre, Outreach work, Schools and Special Education Needs School. I feel this has given me a wealth of experience and one I’m excited to share with ‘Bonnie
Little Things Childcare.’
I live with my husband Kriss, daughter Eliza (7), my son Milo (5) and our Miniature Dachsund Bonnie (3.)
I have all the relevant qualifications including a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years, HLTA qualification, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and EYFS.
‘Bonnie Little Things Childcare’ provides a warm and nurturing environment for all children to grow, play and learn. My ethos is to nurture a child's curiosity through child centred play. I plan to encourage this by providing open ended resources for continuous play and stimulating planned activities within the indoors and outdoors. At Bonnie Little Things Childcare we have a garden
Playroom resourced for all ages and stages of development. Children can free flow between the Playroom and garden where will spend most of our core day. Alongside the Playroom there is a mud kitchen which is already loved by my children, areas for bug discovery and growing. Meals will be prepared and eaten together inside. Visiting community play groups, the library, local park, and open spaces will be a regular part of our routine.
Bonnie Little Things Childcare is open Monday-Friday, 8am till 5pm
All government funding is accepted at Bonnie Little Things Childcare. Funding is available term time only.
I offer breakfast, snacks, lunch and a family style home cooked tea. This will be an additional cost of £5 a day.
I offer wrap around care for school children with School drop offs and collection from ‘Oakmeadow Primary School.’
