Hi – I am Zoe and the founder of Creative Cubs Childcare. I am a mother of two girls, Willow aged 4 and Hallie aged 2. We love exploring outdoors and creating fun tuff trays to play with!
I have 12 years experience in childcare mainly working in nurseries and frequent babysitting. My most recent role being deputy manager of a nursery, however I decided I wanted to pursue my career and have my own child-minding business.
I am a qualified level 3 early years practitioner, with additional qualifications such as level 3 in special educational needs and level 3 in child psychology. I also have first aid training, designated safeguarding lead, food hygiene, EYFS training, along with lots of other relevant childcare training.
I am passionate about the job I do and love helping all the little people I care for develop and grow!
My setting is an open plan setting with use of the living room going into the dining room which has all been transformed into playrooms, one of the rooms leads into the enclosed garden which we will be using in all weathers! I have a large range of resources and will be doing lots of planned for activities to help your children develop. I love making Tuff trays with different themes to engage children and I like to focus these on particular interests that the children have.
Exploring the outdoor world is also an important part of my care and we will be going on outings every week whether that is to local play groups, the library, trips to the farm, soft play etc.
I will also be following the EYFS framework to plan activities and provide home from home care.
Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm
I offer care for children aged 1 years – 5 years all year round from 8am-6pm. I provide all meals and snacks, nappies, wipes, suncream etc. I can be some what flexible with the opening hours if an earlier start or later finish is required however this would need to be pre-booked and discussed.
I don’t currently offer a pick up service with nurseries/ schools.
