My name is Stacy, I am a registered childcare provider and owner of little rainbows home nursery. I am 36, I have been married for almost ten years and have 4 children of my own, aged 5, 7, 9 and 15, as well as our little dog Margo. I offer high quality care, in a warm, safe and happy home from home, which provides a rich learning environment for under 5s. I am passionate about working with children and supporting them through play on their journey from tiny babies, through to starting school. I have extensive experience in supporting children with special educational needs and am a qualified Makaton user. My mission as a childcare provider is to provide a warm and welcoming, positive place where children can explore, learn and grow.
My setting has two purpose built, fully equipped, cozy playrooms, to suit the needs of all preschool children. We have a large garden, fitted with artificial grass and lots of outdoor equipment, for use all year round. A day in my home nursery involves, lots of planned activities, including arts and crafts, music and sensory play, story time in the quiet corner, free play, as well as trips out in the community to local parks, libraries, playgrounds and much more. I am a small setting, providing personalized care to meet the needs of each individual child.
I am open on Monday through to Friday, from 8.00am until 5.00pm, during term time only.
I am registered with my local authority to offer 15 hour funded places for eligible children from 9 months old, and 30 hour funded places for eligible children aged 3 and 4, as well as tax free childcare.
My setting provides all children with a space where they can relax, have fun, learn and grow their confidence whilst socializing with other children. My role as a childcare provider involves identifying and meeting the needs of all learners, including those children with special educational needs or disabilities, children using English as an additional language, children with social and emotional needs, and removing barriers to their full inclusion.
