Hello everyone! My name is Stacey, I am 29 years old with a First Class BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies. I a 2 year old little boy, I absolutely love exploring outdoors with him all year around. He is my best friend and I love my life with him. I started childminding 3 years ago and I have never looked back, the best decision! I have always been passionate about childcare hoping to provide children with the best start in early education. I am a firm believer in a child-centred approach, I am currently studying the Curiosity Approach with embeds this throughout their pedagogy. I also hold a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification. Out of work I love visiting the zoo or farm, going for walks and spending time with my family.
Our setting is better known as ‘Treetop Treasures’. As you probably already know, I love to be outdoors which shines through in my setting. We love to visit our local park, jump in muddy puddles, make bug hotels, go on woodland walks looking for the creatures around and making creations in our mud kitchen. When were indoors we tend to be in our big den, making a cup of tea in the home corner or building those fine motor skills with the arts and crafts.
Tuesdays 9am-2pm Wednesdays 8am-5pm Thursdays 8am-5pm Fridays 8am-5pm
We have our own specialised childminding space – a spacious indoor area and a free-flowing outdoor area. We are wherever the children want to be, all year round so make sure you wrap up warm in the winter! We currently accept 3 year funding and accept tax-free childcare. We accept children from 7 months old up until they are ready to head off to reception.
We are an inclusive provision at Treetop Treasures. We celebrate each child’s individuality through our child-centred approach. Over the years, we have found following the children’s interests is key to quality learning and development. After all we are following what they are interested in. We celebrate different religions and have different cultured items throughout our setting. Every child is unique in their own way, we all have our own story. At Treetops we have our own family books which we like to share with our friends, our families come in all different shapes and sizes.
