I am a registered childminder and have a Cambridge University Master’s Degree in Education and Geography as well as a PGCE in Primary Education. My most recent experience is looking after a couple of 16 month olds and a 3 year old, along with my three-year-old daughter. I set up my childminding business so that I could work from home and be with my own child. My setting is unique, offering a large indoor and outdoor play area overlooking fields in very community focused village. I offer tailored early years activities for the group and I am passionate about each child’s early years’ experience, which I want to make as rich as possible. I run activities outside as much as possible and do daily trips with all the children to the park or woodlands. There will be opportunities to attend external groups such as music classes and forest school. I keep my setting up to date with current legislation to give our children the best start in Early Education. I accept: Tax Free Childcare, Please contact me if you have any questions.
I offer very high quality care, primarily focusing on 10 months-5 year olds. I send out weekly planning that will follow the EYFS new curriculum framework of highly engaging activities linked to their stages of development across all key learning areas in a home from home environment. I recently started a book based activities account on Instagram where you can follow and share your children’s activities (@tod.book). The children are treated like one of the family and will have the opportunity to go to groups outside the immediate setting with me.
I will work to your child’s nap routine as much as possible ensuring things are close to home life as possible.
I work closely with my childminder agency, Suffolk Childcare Agency to ensure that the standard of your children’s registered care is the best it can be. Lunch and healthy snacks will be provided, breakfast and dinner can be negotiated based on the child’s arrival and home time.
