My name is Sadé and I have recently embarked on my childminding
journey. I am an experienced primary school teacher, who has worked
with a diverse range of children over the years. I previously worked as a
teaching assistant and a play-worker at an after school club. I live with
my partner and our daughter (2 years old).
I am a calm, caring and approachable practitioner. I aim to provide an
environment where all children in my care feel safe and valued. I love
dancing, singing, sharing stories, soft play, going for walks and
exploring. I have a good balance of child led and adult led learning
times, including messy play, arts and crafts, dressing up and role play.
I am up-to-date with all relevant qualifications including safeguarding,
food hygiene and first aid
My setting has a fairly large garden with a range of garden toys on offer such as a playhouse and sandpit. The
children have access to a wide range of toys and activities inside the house. We regularly attend a range of local
playgroups, and storytime sessions at the library. My house backs onto a large park providing ample
opportunities to explore and play. We are also within walking distance to several other parks, shops and buses to
the city centre
Wednesday and Thursdays 8am - 5pm
Subject to availability, I can accept funded hours, tax-free childcare and childcare vouchers.
I am able to offer drop-off and pickup from Windmill Primary School and St Andrew’s Primary School as both are
within walking distance.
I have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs including autism,
Asperger’s and global delay. I also have experience of supporting children with English as an
Additional Language.
