My name is Pippa Hibbard and I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher with 20 years experience. I am now very fortunate to bring all those skills to caring for children in my own home.
I live in the Battenhall area of Worcester with my husband Andy and 2 of my 3 children, Max age 19 and Maisy age 14. Rosie age 21 lives in Cardiff and loves seeing how all my childmindees have grown when she visits.
During my time as a Primary School Teacher, I enjoyed teaching across all the primary year groups, with my main experience and expertise being in Early Years. I have loved teaching many Reception classes and also running the school Nursery.
My home is very welcoming, child friendly and well equipped. We are like an extended family here and the children aged from 1 – 11 all love being together. The older children take on caring roles by helping and playing with the younger ones. We have a lovely garden with a flat decked area for trikes and a mud kitchen.
We have a cat and 2 gerbils, which are well loved by all the children I look after! I live within walking distance of Worcester Cathedral and the city centre, and have many toddler groups and parks close by.
Healthy snacks are provided and I cover the cost of entry to local toddler groups.
Tuesday – Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm
I offer term time only care, as well as some holiday care at Easter and during the Summer holidays. I am able to offer drop-offs and pick-ups to Red Hill Primary and London Road Play Group and Pre-school.
I am registered to offer the 15 and 30 hours Gov’t Funding and also accept Tax Free Childcare vouchers.
I try to be as inclusive as possible and complete regular CPD to boost my own knowledge and skills.
I have built strong links with London Road Playgroup/ Pre-school and Red Hill Primary School, as my own children attended when they were younger. I also keep in touch with other local Nurseries if I am looking after a child that is attending both settings.
