I am married and a proud parent of three wonderful daughters, ages 7, 11 and 13. Our family also includes Lola, our lively 4-year-old sausage dog who keeps us all entertained and who is very loving.
I enjoy staying active and regularly go to the gym, as well as taking part in other physical activities. In my spare time, I love cooking, spending quality time with my family and going on family holidays.
I have a real passion for working with children in their early stages of development, helping them build essential skills through play and exploration. Having worked in early years as an assistant, I have found great joy and fulfilment in supporting children as they learn, grown
and discover the world around them.
My childcare setting is a welcoming, family-orientated home where children feel safe, valued and cared for. I live with my husband, our three daughters, and our friendly sausage dog, Lola. We have a warm nurturing environment where children can learn, play and explore. I have a play room with age-appropriate toys, books and resources to support all areas of development. The children can also access an enclosed secure garden with composite decking and grass area to play and learn.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays – 7.30am – 5.30pm
I can offer 30 hour free childcare funding, vouchers and tax-free childcare.
My setting includes outings such as Forest school, baby groups, rhyme time at the local library and other play centre’s.
Every child is unique and valued equally. They will all have equal opportunities, activities and resources that meet their individual needs. I work closely with parents to understand each child’s background, culture, and any additional needs they may have.
Diversity is positively promoted through play, stories, activities and celebrations to reflect different culture’s, traditions and families.
When required, I will liaise with other professionals to make sure each child receives the support they need.
I have positive links with the local school my children have attended and my youngest still attends.
I also maintain friendly and professional relationships with other local childminders. We share good practices, ideas and training opportunities.
There will be occasions when we meet up with the children and do different activities such as forest school.
