I am a Natalie a mother of two girls; who with my husband live in Sutton Coldfield and have done so for 15 years.

Before becoming a childminder I worked within the nursery of a primary school, for 12 years; working predominantly with children aged 1 to 5 years.

Before working within the school setting, I was employed at a private day nursery caring for children aged between 6 months and 4 years.

Prior to my experience within childcare, I completed a B’tec in Early Childhood Studies. During my time in the school setting, I gained my BA Hons degree in Early Years.

I am confident and very experienced in caring for children of all ages and believe that a child’s wellbeing is paramount in all I do.

When caring for your child within my home, my aim is to make them feel as happy and content as possible. As a parent I understand how hard it is to leave your most precious thing in the world in the care of another. I will do my utmost to put your mind at ease by knowing that your child is well cared for.

All children explore their surroundings and learn better, retaining more information when they are happy and confident. As a childcare provider it is my duty to ensure the children feel happy within my home and reach their full potential, emotionally and intellectually.

I am guided in my routines and policies by the Early Years Foundation Stage framework

I recognise the importance of parental involvement in a child’s early development and it is my aim to work together as a team with you to meet your children’s full potential.

I am a home from home setting offering a bright learning environment, offering a child led approach, with continuous provision available to children at all times; as well as a variety of adult lead activities revolving around the children’s interests.

I have a large secure garden where children have constant access to sand and water play as well as reads to use their imagination.

We are lucky enough to be close to a large park and woodlands which we take full advantage of and visit on a very regular basis.

I plan in the moment offering flexibility for the children to gain the full potential of each learning experience, always following the seven areas of learning.
