My name is Megan Wright, despite only being 24 years old I already have almost 9 years experience of working in early years. I have previously worked in day nurseries as a room leader, deputy manager and recently I have been working alongside a childminder as a assistant! I studied at Barnsley University where I completed my Early Years BA Hons Degree. I love watching little ones develop and grow as individuals. I have my own little boy Lenny-George so I feel like now I also understand what it’s like to be a busy working mum. That is why at Mini Megs I will try be as accommodating as I can when working with you and your family as I know how hard it is to juggle work, childcare and home life!
My setting is a home from home setting, I cannot wait to welcome new families into my home and create a bond with your little ones! In my home there is Me, my partner Lee our son Lenny-George and our Bulldog Nellie. As a family we love to be outdoors getting fresh air and exploring nature, so our day at Mini Megs will involve going on nature walks, big hunting and even splashing in muddy puddles!
Monday to Friday all year round, 7:30-5:30
I will be accepting all funding and will work to fit around your family’s childminding needs. Mini Megs will be offering school pick-ups and drop offs at Hunningley Lane Primary school, this is only a short walk away from my house. Attending age ranges can start from 6 months (or younger!) to 9 years, I will be open from 7:30am till 5:30 and will be open all year round.
Mini Megs offers a inclusive provision providing young people a safe space where they can relax, have fun, learn and socialise with other young people who they can relate to, have things and experiences in common, feel comfortable with and feel confident and relaxed with.
