Hi There...
My name is Jen and i have been childminding for around 3 and a half years. I have come from a background of childcare and have had numerous roles from running a nursery, looking after vulnerable children in care, setting up children centres around the Pennines and being a mum to 4 wonderful daughters.
I have has the nest time Childminding so far especially when i have the most amazing children and parents come through my door.
In January i took on an assistant called Brooke and what a fantastic decision that was. Brooke has created outstanding relationships with the children and parents and really does make our day to day activities exciting.
From September my Husband Tom is coming on board with us as we want to create a thriving family business and we believe having a male role model in the home will be such a positive benefit all the children including our own.
We live in a 4 bedroom home with front and back garden.
Our home is open plan with a playroom at the front of the house with continuous provision and easy access to all toys and activities and a conservatory at the back which is a designed meal area for our childminding children and also where we plan and conduct our messy play and craft activities.
The children have access to the outdoor area at all times.
Our kitchen and living area are in the middle of the home so we can easily see the children playing safety. Health home cooked meals are provided daily including Breakfast, Lunch and a light snack before home time.
Our home is surrounded by countryside, lots of country walks, lakes, hills to climb, adventures to be made and daily visits from sheep and cows.
We are open Monday to Friday 7 .30 - 5.30
We offer a nurturing home from home setting.
We are open Monday - Friday 7.30 - 5.30, We cater for young babies and children aged 0 - 11 years.
Our house is all low level and easily accessible.
We inform parents of our holidays at the beginning of the year.
We offer school drop off and pick ups from Tonacliffe Primary School.
We provide morning Breakfast and play before school time drop off and collection from school with a light snack and play.
We attend lots of places that are educational and fun for the children including Eureka, Manchester Science and Industry Museum, children's centres that offer messy play, Physical fun, sign and rhyme, craft fun ect. Libraries, Local shops, Dailey walks, Parks ect.
I offer all types of government funding 15/30 hrs , Vouchers welcome.
We pride ourselves on having an inclusive provision welcoming all children into our home., we have a supportive environment which meets all diverse needs and we will adapt to make sure we are inclusive at all times.
All Children will be able to participate fully in the day to day activities we offer making sure we take into account any physical, social and learning barriers.
All children will get the necessary support and resources to succeed here and as a team we are consistent with families needs and requests to make their child's time here a positive and stimulating one,
We will work alongside outside agencies to provide the best outcomes for the children.
