Im laura I live in north Yorkshire with my husband and 2 children riley aged 4 and charlotte aged7 both of who attend school and nursery term time and will be home with me during school holidays charlotte loves getting to know the families I work with and can often be found asking the parents how there day has been when they come to collect the children. We enjoy spending time with family on the weekends and having nice days out. We also enjoy going uk holidays when we have time off works and school together.
I studied childcare and education level 2 and 3 when I left school aged 16 and became qualified aged 19 over there years I have worked in many childcare settings and decided to become a childminder when riley was 1 year old.
I am fully qualified in paediatric first aid safe guarding and food hygiene. I like to take the children to lots of groups and days out so the children are often in the car which is fully insured for childminding purposes.
I like to provide a home from home settling where the children can feel as comfortable as they do at home I also love the amazing community we live in so regular days outs and play groups are a regular part of our routin. All activities the childen take part in will like to the EYFS to ensure there is a learning potential in everything the children do. I also take the time to get to know the families of the children I take care of and let them know I am here for them as much as I am the children.

I take the time to get to know each child and their families to ensure the needs of the child are being met at all times .I take part in regular CPD training to ensure I keep my knowledge up to date. I keep regular checks of childrens progress using development trackers which can be viewed at parents or carers request I also complete termly reports for each child which will also be sent home for parents or carers to have an input in.
All cultural and diarty needs will be met to the best of our ability I ask that any parents with additional requests speak with me directly so we can work together to ensure the needs of the child are being met.
