Hello, name is Karen I am a mum of 3 grown up children and I have lived in Lincolnshire all my life. All my working life has been in roles which has involved caring and educating children. I am a qualified Nursery Nurse, which is where I met and became a lifelong friend with Kerry. I worked in a school nursery, during which time, I studied to gain my BA Hons degree and PGCE in Primary Education. I have been an Early Years Teacher and Primary school Teacher during my school career, up to August 2023.

Throughout my life, I have worked and cared for children, from birth to adulthood, in my role as mother, nannie, aunt, friend as well as employee.  I am excited to begin my next adventure of becoming a co-minder working alongside my long-term friend Kerry. I have always been motivated, creative and very passionate about helping young children to develop at their own pace. Happiness is the key to feeling safe and learning and development will follow. Working with young children is the best job in the world because it is a privilege for me watch them grow and learn every day.

I have space for 3 cars however my parents park on the main road so that there is no congestion on the shared drive.
