i am a newly registered Childminder ,but I have develop my skills when I started babysitting when I was about 13 years old -looking after my younger siblings, my mums friends kids, or family members children’s, and realized not only how much I enjoyed being around kids, but how easily and naturally I connected with them. I understand them, and even more than that, I value and respect them. Despite the fact that they're not mine.

Because I know they are someone's child, they are someone's whole world, and it's such an honour to be a small part of their lives, even for a brief period of time. I just know this job is for me  I love work with children, and helping to their integral growth. Safe, Happy, full of knowledge, independent, secure, responsible, and able to use the best learning skill to solve I think parents need to feel completely happy and at ease to leave children so that is what needs to be provided at the childminder setting, whatever that may be, it is also nice to see that children are happy to come to you.! You cant go into this business for the money you have to be able to like other peoples children which is hard sometimes as we all know but the rewards are great, I love the freedom of being able to take the children on outings, and visits that I feel meets the National curriculum, and if you have them your own children can learn alot from having others around too.

Also As a mum I have developed knowledge and skills in providing safe and stimulating environments for my children. I am well -versed in developing activity plans, implementing behaviour plans and monitoring my children’s progress. Also I believe I have the ability to handle emergency situations appropriately. I have a huge passion for working with children. I am highly motivated and I strive to create an engaging environment for children to learn and grow from my own home.

My setting is fun I offer large indoor and outdoor play area I leave in  4 bedroom bungalow with open plan kitchen connected with the living room and at the back of the house there is  a Garden room with kitchen and a bathroom that has been set up for children to play ,Garden equipment-swings ,playhouse, sandpit etc.I run activities outside as much as possible, and do daily trips to the park, Library, there also will be opportunities to attend playhub, soft plays.I will work to your Child’s nap time routine as much as possible ..
