My name is Jessica, and I am a mother of two beautiful girls.  I share my home with my husband Liam and our daughters Phoebe and Dempsey. As a family we love eating, exploring new places and going on holidays together.

I have a BA Hons in Childhood and youth studies and graduated in 2013. I am a passionate early year’s practitioner. I believe all Children should have a positive, happy and warm experience in the Early Years to build the foundations they need as they grow and develop. By giving children the best quality start in life by providing a responsive, nurturing and stimulating setting will generate valuable skills such as being socially competent, cognitive skills,  good health and emotional wellbeing.

I absolutely love what I do, I love creating a fun safe and stable environment for the children in my care. I focus on each individuals needs and interests enabling each child to reach their full potential.

My setting is in our family home, I have a dedicated play room and a safe garden space to play in. I am in walking distance to our local primary school, lovely green areas and various different parks. We love to explore our local community and attend different cultural and seasonal events that go on around the city.

At Jessica’s childminding I aim to continually strive to create a nurturing environment where the children feel safe physically and emotionally. My homely atmosphere provides the children with unique and exciting daily activities in all areas of the EYFS. I work within the framework that promotes equal opportunities regardless of the child’s background, I also ensure all mandatory policies are regularly updated as and when required along with all arears of mandatory training.
