Here at little Gnomies we are led by children and their interests following in the moment planning, our setting is laid out in a way which enables the children to make their own choices in play and creativity.
We have a huge amount of outdoor space including a magical woodland area, our little piece of paradise where we spend lots of our time. We have a little garden attached to our sweet nursery and playroom which the children can play in all day in all weathers if they wish to with a wide range of resources available including sand, water, bikes and trikes and much more. Lastly, we have access to a large garden where we can go bird spotting, gardening or picnic under the fair tree.
I have been a teacher in the primary sector for 14 years and wanted to branch out into a different area of child development and explore my love of being outdoors.
I work with another childminder and 2 assistants; this is a small team always putting the children first. We specialize in outdoor, messy and creative play. Pick up from Alpington and Bergh Apton school Monday-Thursday. Our age range is from 12 months to 12 years and have a very popular after school and school holiday club.
Open Monday – Thursday : 7:30am till 17:30pm

We are an inclusive setting, welcoming children from all backgrounds and nationalities. We are child lead and will follow the lead of your child their needs and stage of development.
We work closely with Alpington and the Bergh Apton primary school and have worked with local preschools, Alpington Cottontails preschool and Stoke Holy cross preschool.
