I’m a childminder with over 10 years’ experience, graded outstanding in my past two inspections.
Prior to childminding I spent 15 years working in human resources in financial & not for profit organisations.
I am the mother of two secondary school aged girls so I have the benefit of both professional and personal experience of looking after children.
I am passionate about creating a fun, friendly & stimulating environment for children of all ages. I take advantage of my location which gives children access to a rich range of environments and resources.
We visit local parks & playgrounds, playgroups, shops and take in the diverse, multi-cultural community we live in. At home I cover all 7 areas of learning in play & activities and encourage development by focusing on your child’s interests.
I endeavour to build good working relationships with parents to ensure that your child thrives in my setting.
I am open Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 9 am to 6pm and Wednesday 3.30pm to 6pm. I offer term time only care
I accept tax free childcare, childcare vouchers & childcare funding.
I look after preschool children & offer after school care.
I treat all children and their families with respect.
I include and support every child regardless of ethnic background, culture, language, gender, socio-economic background or disability.
I ensure that every child is able to participate in activities and I provide resources that reflect the background of each child.
I pick up from Fielding Primary School.
If your child is at another setting I will, with your permission, contact the setting to ensure that we are working together to provide your child with the best possible outcomes.
