we have been operating as Handprints Childminding since 2020. Prior to Handprints, I worked in a managerial role for the NHS.
My husband and I enjoy travelling and weekends away in our campervan together with our dog, Louie.
I have a love of arts and crafts and the outdoor life which I bring to the setting as much as possible, to enjoy with the children.
We are a mother and daughter team who co-childmind and run a very much ‘home from home’ setting. The children have access to the house, garden and purpose built cabin filled with colourful and stimulating educational toys at all times.
We have a wide and varied selection of good quality resources, which we rotate on a regular basis, following the interests of the children, themes of the seasons, celebrations and days of importance. The garden has a trampoline, water station, mud kitchen, sandpit, ride on trucks, bikes, trikes and scooters and mark making always available to the children.
We love to spend lots of time outdoors and regularly visit the local park and woodlands, where we explore, build, climb and of course, feed the ducks! We teach the children to respect nature and wildlife, and the area that we live in.
We enjoy regular trips to local playgroups as well as swimming and gymnastics. We encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.

We are an inclusive setting, welcoming children from all backgrounds and nationalities between the ages of 9 months and 11 years.
We are child led and will follow the interests and needs of your child as they grow and develop. British Values are at the heart of our setting and are embedded from the day your child begins their journey with us at Handprints.
