I have been a childminder for 34 years. I have 6 children of my own and only had a break in working for 7 years when I had my 4 younger children.  I work with 2 assistants. One of them is my 35 yr old Daughter who has worked with me for 9 years and Stephanie who I met during lockdown has worked with us for 2 years.

We are a busy setting with capacity for 9 early years children and 6 after school children. We like to go out and visit local parks, play areas, library visits and museums on a weekly basis. We plan different activites for the children to help them grow and develop ready for school. We like to involve the children in choices of activites. We love to sing and have a ‘boogie time’ session a couple of times a week where we get the instruments out and sing our favourite songs. We love baby yoga too.  We do a book of photos with development matters pages at the front of the book so we can see at a glance that children are progressing.
