I have been working in childcare since I left school in 2008, I have worked as bank staff, 1:1 support and  teaching assistant in reception, I then went on to work in a large chain nursery where I took on the roles of SENCO and behaviour management coordinator I then progressed from here to working as a deputy manager in Norwich , which I then decided was a little to far to drive !

I then came back local and worked at seagulls day nursery right  up untill Covid when I had my daughter.

I took a few years to enjoy being a stay at home mum and then decided it was time to get back to what I love , and rejoined seagulls day nursery but under a new name little squirrels play forest.

I worked here for a few months to then once again make the choice to step back and take time for my family .

In march 2023 the owner reached out to me and asked me to take on the role as manager at their Great Yarmouth setting which I did untill September 2024 We had ofsted attend in March 2024 and the team smashed it!

This setting had a special place in my heart and the team there became family.

This is when i decided it was time to do a job ive wanted to have a go at for years!

and Emily’s tiney tots was born .

I have had a vast range of experiences within the childcare industry and I’m so excited to be able to share my knowledge on a more personal level 

Emily’s tiney tots offers a warm friendly home from home setting, encouraging children to learn and develop in their own individual ways.

We take influences from the curiosity approach and hugge to create a calm warm and welcoming environment.

Here at Emily’s tiney tots all children’s wellbeing and feelings are taking into consideration and all learning is based around the child’s individual interests.
