Hi, my name is Hira. I am a bubbly, happy, friendly person. I am young and full of energy and love to be creative and playful. I believe in learning through play, which why I like to join in and do activities with children and become their peer. I have worked in a childcare setting as a deputy manager. I am fully qualified in level 3 childcare and education and have gained experience in childcare through my profession and personal life of being an older sister to young siblings and cousins. I am confident and able to work efficiently and safely in order to provide a safe, nurturing happy place for children to learn and develop.
At Rainbow Childminding, we offer different types of toys and equipment, in order to help young children learn and develop their skills; toys consist of building blocks, abacus, sand etc., Activities such as dressing up, puzzles, play- doh will be available for children to play with and opportunity for the little ones to explore their environment. Furthermore, activities such as painting, mark making, arts & crafts will be available for the children. Different types of books will be available for the children to explore and dive into as well as daily story time sessions conducted by one of our childminding staff. We have a large outdoor space with dedicated areas for learning. The outdoor facilities include slides, sand and water pit, bikes, role play stage, constructions and small world. Our outdoor space will allow children to explore their setting, develop their understanding of the environment and enable children to gain social and confident skills to make friends and learn to share and take turns. Healthy snacks, such as fruits, milk will be provided, all snacks/ food we provide will be nutritious and healthy, promoting good health.
Monday – Thursday: 8am – 5:30pm Friday: 8am – 3pm

Our premises is accessible with ramp access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. We have multilingual staff from various backgrounds. We have staff trained in SEN.
After school club for children aged 5-15.
We will interact and make visits to local schools and settings in order to enhance children’s social skills and interactions.
