We are Chloe and Tiana and together, we’ve created Cosy Cove. We are based in
Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
Together we have 10 years experience in Early Years and we are very enthusiastic
practitioners. We are both level 3 early years educators, both starting as
apprentices. Chloe started in a baby room and forest school, and carries the
passion for outdoor learning. Chloe also has a year’s experience in a deputy
manager role in an Ofsted rated Outstanding setting, in the heart of the
community. Tiana also comes from an Ofsted rated Outstanding setting where she
progressed from an apprentice to a key worker, working with ages 2-4. Tiana has a
passion for all things messy and creates beautiful activities, giving children the
opportunity to play and learn.
We set up Cosy Cove from Chloe’s home, with the intention of creating a `home
from-home` experience for your children. A home full of support, adventure,
curiosity and learning. We are constantly developing our knowledge to provide a
unique early years experience that puts the child’s happiness and development at
the forefront of what we do, allowing your child to feel confident to face the
world!
Our Living room/playroom is an inviting space with a variety of resources including a home corner. We have a table for
focused activities. Our Kitchen is to be used for messy play which we love! We also use the kitchen for baking and
preparing our nutritional snack/tea.We have a good-sized garden which has a mud kitchen area, sand and water
provisions, and space for growing some plants and vegetables. We are in a great location close to parks and open fields,
providing lots of opportunity for exploring nature which we love to do in all weather.
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with earlies and lates if required.
• We accept 9 month, 2-year-old and 3- and 4-year-old funding.
• We accept payments via Tax-Free Childcare Choices.
• We have flexibility for those on a shift pattern work contract.
Tiana is our SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) with in depth experience and up-to-date training.
Chloe is level 1 Makaton trained and we are very enthusiastic about incorporating Makaton in daily practise.
Chloe is also up to date on Communication Champion training, providing support for those with communication
and language delays and/or EAL (English as an additional language).
We are always on the lookout for new training opportunities to extend our knowledge and care.
