We are a wife and husband team who offer a caring home from home environment for children aged 12 weeks old and upwards. We offer early years care and are also happy to look after children before and after school and in holidays.
Ceri began her career in childcare working as a nursery nurse and became a registered childminder in 2014. Ian qualified more recently in 2019.
We provide a safe, stimulating environment with open ended resources and believe children learn best through play.
The setting has a wide range of resources carefully chosen to stimulate your child’s interest and development. Resources are mainly open ended to encourage imaginative play and to appeal to a wide range of ages.
Indoors the children have the use of the lounge/diner and hallway area with lots of resources to choose from. Outdoors there is a dedicated, enclosed garden area with sand pit, mud kitchen, water wall, veg trug and reading area as well as a variety of loose play parts and musical instruments.
We are members of National Trust, English Heritage and the Woodland Trust. We try to get out and about as much as possible especially in the School Holidays.
Monday to Friday 7am – 6pm
We accept all kinds of funding including 15- and 30-Hours Entitlement, College Childcare Grants, Tax Free Childcare & Universal Credit Claims.
We recognise that every child is unique and we aim to adapt our resources and approach to make the setting a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for all the children we care for.
We offer wrap around care for children attending Hebburn Lakes Primary and Toner Avenue Primary and can facilitate pick up and drop off at their nursery provision too. We are happy to split funded hours with other providers.
