I have enjoyed a 34 year career as a trained nursery nurse
and I have worked extensively with the under five age
group.
My career has seen me work as a nursery nurse, day
nursery manager, night nanny, and a private day nanny in
Cambridgeshire, Paris and London.
I am a qualified NVQ level 3 nursery nurse, as well as
holding paediatric first aid, enhanced DBS and food hygiene
certificates. I have also completed a large number of CPD
courses and am committed to ongoing learning.
I live in Twickenham with my husband and two children, the
eldest of whom is at University, and the youngest attends a
local school

I provide a home from home environment which is safe, warm and loving. We follow the
EYFS curriculum and tailor the children’s learning to their specific interests as well as
studying topics which change each term.
We learn through a variety of activities, arts & crafts, outings and play sessions. We
attend local play groups, soft play centres and music groups.
We love the outdoors and often visit local parks as well as Kew Gardens. We mainly
work out of a garden room, and also make use of the garden space. We particularly
enjoy activities with water, kinetic sand, play dough, and loose parts play.
I work closely in partnership with parents, providing termly reports as well as a daily
diary in order to keep parents well informed of how we have spent our time and the
progress that their children are making.
